This work was created thinking about the absences, marks, fragilities and insecurities, and their impacts on one's sensibility and on what it means to "be a woman". It portrays an introspective process, manifest in art, of what the feminine symbolizes for me and the way I experience my body. Art is expression and a subject only becomes a body through language. And, in these traces of language, my body takes shape. In the darkness of the faults that precede me, in the emptiness and helplessness of the creative opportunity.
